Get a geforce 2 mx if you want a cheap gfx card, other than that wait a while for highend geforce 2 prices to come down.

I got a sparkle - (and it is a Geforce 2 MX chipset).

moved from a pair of voodoo 2's - so had a big improvement !

It overclocks fine aswell - no problems

Not sure if its worth the saving tho' - i saw some benchmark comparisons in er - 'PC Pro' i think, a few months back - it was by far the bottom of the Geforce cards (even the other brand MX's)

I went from TNT2 to gf2 MX, it is a fantastic card, not as good as the gts but you get what you pay for, although you don't with this card, it is lightning fast and comes very cheap. The only problem is that because of the low memory bandwidth, you can't play in high resolutions but i only usually play at 800x600x32 and it is fine for that.

If you are getting a GF2 mx, and you want it for gameing, get the 3D Prophet 2 MX, since it is more geard towards gameing, it chucks out duel monitor support and tv out, in favour of better quality ram and comes out of the box with 183 mhz ram speed (none of the other MX based cards have ram speeds this high), this means you can clock it higher, i got mine to 190 core (from 175 i think) and 196 ram and with a fan i am now at 203 mhz. Which isn't bad for good ol' sdram. Hopefully gunna get some ram sinks soon.
