geforce 3 gainward

ive had an offer i could not refuse ive bought a gainward geforce 3 pack,
ive also added a few extras as a tide over for time being.
i was wondering what FPS could put on this card please?
im at a bit of a loss to be honest,i cant belive the difference in colours.No one lives forever is looking totally amazing im really pleased.

Well i had all planned to just buy a new machine
id seen this lovely siemens one,but the omens were well against me there was a cockup in the order.
the machine ive currently got i had made for me and to be honest its been the best machine ive ever owned.
after the cock up with the new order i thought bugger this
so i went to see about just upgrading this one and the same guy
who build it for me is going to do the work,i will be saving about 200 quid doing this and having a better machine.my brother fitted the geforce card for me and at the moment i did
cg_drawfps 1
and the fps are peaking around the 120 mark.
but i keep all my settings on very high i have an auto.exe
that makes things even better.
set r_lowendvideo 0
set r_picmip 0
set r_lodbias 0
set r_detailtextures 1
set r_dynamiclight 1
set r_flares 1
set r_subdivisions 2
set r_lodcurverror 10000
set r_lodscale 20
set cg_shadows 3
set cl_VideoQuality 0
set cl_VideoUsingLoRes 0
this gives you shadows etc off the bots its really great help
and when doing screenies for maps ;O)
until i get the rest of the machine updated i was just wondering what i should set my FPS rate too.
i would really love to be able to jump out of them trenches i die
so often whilst trying to escape!

I dont know how many FPS you are getting m8, but it must r0x0r!!!

Ive got a Geforce 2 Pro 64mb, and i get around 350-370FPS in Elite Force. Although i cap it at 125.

EDIT - ok i just noticed that you say you get 120??? dont know what settings tho.

I keep all my EF settings at the default level.

Dam im lucky to get 150 on my radeon 8500

I cap mine to com_maxfps 73 and trench jump/wall jump etc fine with np,why push the g card...73FPS is fine

I concur, whilst 370 FPS is far from needed, its nice to know that the card can achieve this

although i cant still get 225 with 1600x1200.

heh - its what im used to, anything else just looks weird to me now

but soon as i come back im going to get this,now being serious here.ive seen a motherboard kit etc with CPU.
and was just wondering if its any good? as i know a load of you

Ultra-ARU deluxe/Amd Athlon XP 1800/thermaltake volcano7+ and im getting 500 odd mb of DDR ram.
