Let's not be too harsh on Gameplay.

They have been at the forefront of the computer games retail and, thro Wireplay, online sector for quite a bit.

It's sad that the games business just doesn't seem to be able to Hack it in big business these days.

I have always thought that any Hi-tech or Dotcom company was too ahead of its time. Gameplay have tried not to put all their eggs in the same basket but I think they had too many baskets in the end and couldn't support the costs associated with them.


On the online side we can fairly and squarely lay the blame with British Telecon. We should be much further ahead on Broadband access. Words really fail me as to how much damage they are doing to the economy with their abject incompetence and delay tactics.

I dunno how the BT execs sleep at night.
