Hi there

I'm writing a feature for a games magazine on cheating in online games and I want to speak to a few people on both sides of the fence (cheaters and cheated) about their experiences and how it impacts on the game. I'm interested in experiences in both PC and console online games.

There's quite a lot of anger going round in the RTCW because by have been publishing life-bans(name and shame sort of thing) and a few wall-hacks have come to light.

Cheaters are funny when you have admin rights on yer private server


Most of em are pre-teen idiots that think its funny.

Last week we had one that used comms, and sounded like an utterly retarded 11 year old.

Its had a really shit affect on gaming, as it is now deemed anyone that is better than you cheats. As if its not possible to be better or even luckier.

It pisses us off more from that side, as retarded admins WILL ban anyone any good, which really ruins it for me - I had to get hold of another cd key cos all my usual hangouts we're run by lame ass admins.

Luckily wwcl has reduced it, but not the accusations.

Cheating in SOF2 has meant the sof2 clan im in has lost about 4 regular members, they've stopped playing sof2 altogether cos of the cheating clans we came across.
