Gamecube / Wii

Anyone know if you can play Gamecube games on the Wii? was considering getting a Gamecube again for the metroid games but if they play on the Wii i'll just get one of those instead.

If i remember rightly only old version Wii can play Gamecube/Use their controllers. The newer versions (Like thew Black Wii) don't have the controller port or support.

If it has the controller ports and gamecube memory card slots you shouldn't have any issues. I still play my special edition Zelda from my Gamecube on the Wii from time to time.
