GameCube mem card UK/USA ?

Here's a question some of you may be able to help me with.

I currently have a UK GameCube and Mario with a UK memory card. I am thinking of selling my console and Mario so I can buy a USA machine with Mario and Metriod Prime. (yes I am impatient we don't get Metriod till late March and as for Zelda Aug!! or later!)

What I want to know would my UK mem card with my Mario save game with 56 shines! work on a USA GameCube with the USA version of Mario?

I have read that the Jap cards wont allow different regions of games on them but is it the same with the UK and USA ones ?

freeloader is due out in jan, afaik. As is Wario World?
(I'm pretty sure Zelda is due in march, too)

ps. Doesn't the cube Action Replay do import stuffs?

No way Dave, PAL Metriod Prime is out here in March and there is no chance in hell we will get Zelda at the same time they will leave it for at least 3 months, it dont make sense for Nintendo to bring out 2 big games in the same month. Plus it says 2nd qtr on thier own site which is the summer.

As for the freeloader thing don't really want some thrid rate device which may not work right and is still been held up for what I would say legal reasons.

Yep, Zelda is slated for Q3/4 of 2003 in Europe. Partly because they have to translate the text into 245569 different languages for our fellow Europeans.

The Yanks get it early next year - includding the 2 bonus Zelda remakes.
