The BBC have posted an article looking into how the rush of big gaming titles has impacted some households, mainly how the other half is left watching tv, while the other is plugged into a top class game...
"With big-name games selling by the bucketload in the run-up to Christmas, and the fact that thousands of people are signing up to broadband each week in the UK, the online gaming bug must be infecting many relationships. "
This is debatable? How do you balance out a relationship with gaming?
I usually wait until the girlfriend is in bed before wheeling out the PS2 for a game of GTA: SA or on weekends I fire up a game of a game of Total War. Apart from the times where she wants to head out and I swear I need just "5 more minutes..." then WWIII breaks out, I usually get away with some quality gaming time.
