Game too dark :(

Had this problem on my 9700 pro but was told to download a different driver set that included an option to alter gamma and the game was playable.

Now I moved over to a XFX Nvidia 6800 GT 256MB and downloaded latest drivers from Nvidia site...I can not seem to get DAOC to lighten up.

Way too dark

Is there a different set of drivers out there I can not seem to find. ??

Sytem:

P4 3 Ghz 800fsb
Asus P4C800
256 MB PC 3200 ( Dual )
XFX Nvidia 6800 GT 256MB
ADI GT56 monitor

Did you check under
display properties > settings > advanced
and find colour settings from there, turn Gamma and Brightness on as you see fit.
And tbh it seems more like your monitor being the key here since same thing with 2 cards, got brightness etc set to maximum on it ?

powerstrip is your friend. i have the same problem.. just download powerstrip

I have indeed found the gamma settings tabs now...

tbh , I can see again in DAoC , but it makes everthing else like Desktop look a mess


Monitor setting are maxed...



I shall trumble off and download powerstrip , and see what that has to offer
