An addition to our Bookable service the first thing to mention this week with the introduction of support for Vietcong, two servers for you to use running the latest official version of the game (1.20) - although with a Beta version in testing they might be updated shortly. In addition to the Bookable service Vietcong has been added to our Clan Servers with a 12 player limit on our mid-range servers and a 20 player limit on our top-end servers. Enjoy!
On a content note those of you old-skool enough to remember the game-in-a-movie Tron will be happy to hear we have scooped an extensive interview with Jason Hall, the CEO of Monolith Productions. Who are they? Well they are the team behind the forthcoming Tron 2.0 and with 30 levels, racing aspects, loads of weapons and a multiplayer mode there is certainly a lot to cover, head on over now to read the interview here.
This past week saw some further changes and updates to games we have been running here on GAME.NET, the most significant being the re-organisation of the Medal of Honor expansion pack SpearHead. This game has now been split off from the old Medal of Honor structure to allow us to further enhance it, in particular we will be looking to introduce MAM support for SpearHead to allow further customisation of the game along a similar line to that which we introduced a couple of weeks ago for Medal of Honor itself. You can read more about the changes in this forum thread, whilst on a related World War 2 note we have increased the player limit on our BattleField 1942 Clan Servers to 28 players, making them even better value for money.
Minor improvements and upgrades this week include an update to the Enemy Territory server version we run (server-side only bug fix), whilst IGI 2 has been updated to Version 1.2, more details of which can be found in the Files & Patches section below.

Files and Patches
As far as trailers go this week I think most of your BroadBand connections can breath easy for a few days, whilst we do have a fair number of things to mention the largest one comes in at just under 50 MB so you shouldn't be breaking your download limits on this section (although the Demos & Patches might be another matter entirely). Compared with Halo 2's movie of last week some of the files here are for slightly more obscure games, such as the Metallica vehicle-based combat game which is due out in 2005 but for which a teaser trailer has been released this past week, the 10 MB file available from our FTP here. Out later this year Beyond Good & Evil looks slightly more conventional (and not unlike many a console game to have appeared in recent years) but the 7 MB trailer on our FTP (get it here) is still quite impressive and perhaps games such as this aren't as common on the PC platform.
I couldn't let a week go by without something for the science fiction geeks and there are two movies to mention which should keep you guys happy. The first is a "babes" preview for the recently released Elite Force II, this 22 MB movie showcases the various female characters to feature in the game and is available from the FTP here. If you are a fan of the other significant space-based realm (Star Wars) then you can find the introduction sequence from upcoming MMORPG Star Wars: Galaxies on the FTP, this 44 MB movie doesn't actually give away a great deal but is probably worth a look if you are a Star Wars fan, you can download it by clicking here. A complete change of course to something much more frivolous and trailer for Worms 3D, due out later this year the latest in the Worms series takes the combat into a whole new dimension and the small movie does make it look quite interesting, grab it here to view for yourself.
Moving on to the demos and we have three very different games to look over this week. First up is the multiplayer demo for FPS game Chaser, this 148 MB demo is quite interesting as it was released at virtually the same time as the full game (of which more below), if you haven't yet purchased it and fancy a look before you buy then you can grab it here. One of the reasons why the Chaser demo is interesting is because usually demos are released well in advance of the game but not in Chaser's case, the same also being true of the Multiplayer demo for Toca Race Driver which was released in the last week. This 164 MB demo includes three circuits and supports up to 12 players so could be just the thing to give you a break from FPS games if you are, for example, having a LAN session this weekend, we of course support the game on GAME.NET and you can see what the fuss is for yourselves by grabbing it here. Alternatively if you like your gaming more reserved then how about giving the demo of Space Station Manager a try, this independently released game certainly offers a rare insight into the difficulties of managing in outer space and at 4 MB (get it here) the trial version might well be worth a look.
Plenty to get through again this week on the Patches front, starting off with an update to IGI 2: Covert Strike, taking the game to Version 1.2 the 13 MB update is available here. It seems like a good week to be an IGI 2 player with an official map also being released (grab it here) along with the Map Editor, a weighty download at 44 MB (download it here) but arguably a key release in terms of keeping the game alive. Another game to get a trio of files this week is NeverWinter Nights, however in this games case they are all effectively the same update but just for different versions of the game. You can grab the 11MB update from version 1.29 to 1.30, the 53 MB 1.30 full update or the 26 MB 1.30 upgrade for those of you running the expansion pack Shadows of Undrentide, although with that not being released in the UK until next week I am guessing most of you will opt for one of the first two. On the other hand I guess some of you will have already purchased Chaser, if you have and are having problems with the game then check out this game patch and this install fix, both are small files but may help to sort you out if you are indeed experiencing issues.
More obscure patches to come out this week include an update to my personal favourite Horse Racing Manager, the new 7 MB patch taking the game up to version 1.2 and fixing a few minor gameplay errors in the original release, if you are a fan of the game like me then you can grab it here. If you prefer your gaming to have a more strategic feel then you might have bought the intriguing RTS game Impossible Creatures when it was released a while back, if you did then you will be happy to hear that a 7 MB patch (grab it here) has been released with it being accompanied by a free add-on for the game called Insect Invasion. This 69 MB modification introduces a number of base insect creatures with plenty of new game and multiplayer content, it looks very promising and increases the vast scope for you would-be genetic engineers, grab it here and get creating :>.

The 4th of July weekend is traditionally a holiday in America, although for people like me it signifies something bigger than that - MOVIES! This year brings us Terminator 3 (out in the UK in August) and my personal must-see film of the year - Legally Blonde 2.
On a gaming front the 4th of July is also pretty significant weekend for UK gamers this year if they like their Fantasy titles. Not only do we see the release of the NeverWinter Nights expansion pack Shadows of Undrentide and a similar expansion pack for Elder Scrolls III called Bloodmoon, the highly anticipated (and much tested) Warcraft III expansion pack - The Frozen Throne also hitting the shelves after an extensive online beta test phase. Building on the already popular Warcraft online experience the expansion pack brings in new worlds, weapons, units, buildings and game-types, plenty for you Warcraft nuts to get your teeth into when it is finally released next Friday.
