GAME.NET Launches In Stores!
13/03/2003 15:32:51 by Jonny
GAME.NET CD-based Subscriptions will be available in GAME stores from Friday March 14th - the day GAME.NET is officially launched.
The service, which offers a range of premium features for PC gamers, will be available to PC gamers for a Subscription fee of £24.99 per annum. A quarterly £9.99 Subscription package is also available. GAME Stores will be offering both packages bundled with a range of half-price games.
As a thankyou to current Subscribers, who have signed up since the service quietly went live last August on BarrysWorld.com, GAME will wipe the slate clean and renew all Subs from Friday March 14th for a year - which means early adopters will get up to 7 months free!
You'll need a GAME Reward Card to purchase the CD - which includes demos, a guide to online gaming and everything else you need to play online - but non-Reward Cardholders (or those that simply don't fancy a trip to the High Street) can easily sign up online.
If you are a current subscriber this is the day you've been waiting for, so get the welcome mats out...and remember kids, play nice!
