It was finished at 2pm (took about 20 mins), so it's only 2½ hours old.

I heal very quickly (just call me Wolverine) - I've applied some Tattoo Goo now, so it's all slick and shiny

It's the Sanskrit symbol for Om btw.

Well I've never been pierced (well not as of yet anyway), so I can't compare to that.

What it did feel like was different at times - at times it felt like an intense heat due to the pain, at others it just stung.

That said it didn't hurt too badly, I was able to sit nice and relaxed while it was being done, and I have a terribly low pain threshold too (read: I'm a total wuss).

But as soon as he finished and lifted the needle away it stopped hurting. It stung for an hour or two afterwards, but I can't feel it at all now.

Nah, it's about 3 hours old now, as it was finished about five to two or thereabouts, and it was fine when I washed it off at 4pm, to apply the Goo - which is when I took the picture, just before I applied it.
