Funky SP

It appears that Nintendo are going to release a modified GBA SP that looks like an old Japanese NES. I even managed to find a nice publicity shot of it.

As well as the funky new hardware there are to be 8 old NES games re-released for the GBA. These are Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, The Legend of Zelda (Again?) , Super Mario Bros., Excitebike, Ice Climber, Xevious and Bomberman.

wasnt there already another GBA coming out? or something similar i think, it was advertised a while ago, never kept up with if it was going to come out or not though, but i do remember the advertising.

In Japan they've had the Famicom edition SP for a while now with the re-released NES games. They even got the option of a swish looking collectors box for the games.

The US is due to get a western version with the NES edition SP, which looks like this...

No news on Europe yet typically.

Do you mean the SP? its just the GBA but with a clamshell case and backlighting? or do you mean the new DS(dual screen) jobby they having coming up? thats the thing they have just announced recently
