Since nobody seems to read TribesNation anymore these days I thought I'd better repost this here.

Monday saw the beginning of the Tribes 2 FunCup here at BarrysWorld. Unfortunatly things didn't quite go to plan with a number of competitors not turning up and there being problems with people not being able to play because of the (quite frankly stupid) beta patches Dynamix had released.
Anybody who is still participating in the FunCup will already know this because of the following information that Fergus has already sent out.....
Further to this we did unfortunately have some late withdrawals which as a result means we will have no requirement for a second round and all teams will go straight into the 3rd round regardless of their result over the last 2 days. There will be a fresh draw made for the 3rd round which will be completely random and we hope to avoid too many teams playing each other again.
This however means that there will be 4 servers lying dormant this week on both Monday and Tuesday evening between 7pm and 11pm. The thought of these wonderful boxes lying there empty is something that didn't appeal to either myself or Fergus so we're planning to try and make use of them somehow. We haven't finalised exactly what we're going to do with them as of this moment but we wanted to give you guys some advanced warning so that you could clear your calendars.
We'll post more details once they've been decided but until then if any clans out there would be interested in perhaps making use of the servers can you please contact Fergus so he can get a rough idea of the numbers.
