Fun in RVR 23 july.

Thanks guys was good fun this afternoon/evening.

We took eras preety quick, defeated the alb zerg a couple times.

Cut port to bold beno, hurb and renaris. Over wall a really fun night to be out in.

even though i think the mid bg reached it's prime at about 50 of us, we still imo managed to do alot. Anyways i really enjoyed tonight, was hectic but exciting.:england:

I just hope albs don't pve them back, as today i think both sides enjoyed the rvr today.

I didn't find rvr too interesting, tho only partly because of having lost all ports. I think the majority of the albs were either out enjoying the weather, or couldn't be arsed to travel to beno, resulting in fewer albs out than usually, which wasn't too bad

Alb population is still the same, their powers are still rediculous and its still boring as hell to face them in siege. But we dont have any choice atm. Some people try to do the best of a bad situation...that has nothing to do with the fact that the whines where/are still valid...

Had a real blast today. Took the old runemaster out of the closet for some leeching supreme and got stuck in BokkeRijders group dinging RR4 and ending with a fantastic 80k for today.

Urm, well considering we have ~3 active members over the summer, that's quite unlikely.

How dare they play the game and have a good time

that arguement has been made countless times. every realm has its "out of hours" players, hib used to have like 2 fg of that spanish guild (thuatha da summin) that played heavily in the early hours. however they "never" messed with the keeps or towers or went for relics.

all we are suggesting is that the overall looser here is the game itself. people just simple wont keep putting in the massive amount of effort to take these keeps, for every time they logg back in the next day they are gone.

theres an element of irresonsibility and almost abusing the fact that no one is there to defend.

if we had people doing this on hib, all the respected realm overlords would have a very very polite word with these guys and explain why they are undermining everything our realm stands for and we really dont want them doing it. its dishonorable and disrespectful to our opponents that die trying to defend the realm.

its important to set standards in this game and play it in a good spirit. it makes the game more fun for all sides and you start getting a lot more respect for your realm adversaries.

its also a mentality thing. and unfortunetly once again the honor camp is right and the nice guy irl camp is wrong. The nice guy irl camp is not putting forward any other arguement other than "i pay my subs" and "its 24X7 game meight". No one is denying either of these points, so perhaps try and make a constructive arguement on the morailty issue and whether or not this is good for the game as a whole. (fyi it isnt)

if we can agree that its not good for the game as a whole then we can start to make progress.

well its quite obvious,
*Albion is the most populated realm,
*Almost everyone plays a caster,
*All casters got mega range and you insta die from their spells..
*Siege fights gets boring due to 5 monster rezz, doing ridiculous damage, can take loads of dmg and worst of all, they aint worth any rps for the trouble.
*Firewizard bolt dmg, and they going to reduce bolt speed from 2.5s to 2.0, lol.
*Pet spam on doors, making albs able to take keeps from a safe distance very very fast.

A small senario, mids taking a tower, albs sending pets on door, mids kill a few, door going down, albs send in 3-4 monster rezz, everyone is perma interupted, all mids die. its always like this, and you get quite pissed of when it happends to you for like the 100th time, and you cant do anything about it.

The worst part is the zerg and constant PVE-tower-keep-relic raids, the list for me is long, many reasons for me to quit, but still i find something fun ingame with some friends, else i would have quit long time ago.

well hib did its share of morningraids too, remember jokke would organise AC raids to take relics back and a lot of hibs actually supported him on it. exact same thing happened: albs couldnt be arsed to try relicraids anymore because they would be AC'd back next day anyways.

key difference is that hib rarely AC'd enemy relics, just their own. custodia will take anything anywhere at night
