Fun Cup ideas

I'm looking for some ideas for the next BarrysWorld Tribes League Fun Cup. I've had a few requests for Tribes Arena so I'll look into that. What about other old favourites such as TAC, Rat in the Kitchen, Long Walk Home, Hot Potato, Team Hunter etc? We could possibly use Shooters and Team Rabbit too. I've looked at Tribes Football and it seems a bit crap tbh, it's American Football anyway :). Comments please.

What about Renegades.....
Yeah you all hate it, but everyone hated TAC and it stll went up. It's different anyways.

Since this is for fun, how about using the "Shooters" maps like you said Crunchy? You can't get much sillier than 100mph ski jumping!

The ethos is fun.
TAC was good, rhenegayds, hmm a little poor with mobile Rt's. thing to remember though, is its _Fun_ so what ever ppl ask for should be considered

Long Walk on IR is the best 'fun' game ive ever seen, could you make that one that we can all get into, first round or similar? Renegades could be a laff as well :)

Certainly will consider Shooters, I'm just worried that tribes will be lame and block up the ramps. It'd totaly suck if ppl did that.

I don't like the idea of using Renegades as theres a huge amount of weapons to learn, and seems pointless for one match. Something like TAC is ok as it's close to normal tribes, just with some important differences :).

In whihc case Garland the mining cunt has to be banned from the shooters round :)

Seriously though, long walk on iceridge is great fun, play that one and early pls so i can play :)

Also if it was included, then maybe the TAC clans would enter and you could laugh at us as we havent been able to get anywhere except in an APC or disc jump for a while...

only 1 prob with tac last time was
if ya was up against a team of lpbs ya didnt stand a chance
chain gun city :)cant exactly run away from it

We won't be playing TAC this time around. It means having to set up a new server and it eats a _lot_ of CPU so decided it wasn't worth it. Theres plenty of other stuff of interest to play though :). Most of them are map mods and so are easy to set up and play.

I spouted off an idea a few months back about a heavy v light match, where one side plays in heavy whilst the other side plays in light. It would probably only be fair on certain maps, but maybe worth a go...?

It'd have to be a mod of some sort, so that the heavy team spawn as heavies. Sounds like something we could try in a megagame :).
