Fuk mythic and this game...

Been playing Daoc for almost 1 and a half years, got a arms rr6, spent over 70p improving it with specs and ras, and what i get? No fuking Grp, no damn fun, all my life i played with melee classes, since diablo1 till daoc, now also Anarchy online in which i did a keeper (melee class) and im loving it, i was away from daoc for a month or so, i return now and im already tired.. :\
But in the end i feel sad, no other game offers me the fun in PVP (when i get a decent grp) that daoc does.
Dont tell me to roll a caster or something like that, im not playing a class that i dont want to play with, im leaving from this game aggain, but ill check forums and stuff to c if the arms situation gets any better, i hope so.. So for all my friends enemies and such, A big Farewell []

then again i have 2 rr5 2rr4 1rr3 @ lvl50 and quitted game 2 times, due to lack of time.

After spending ages in getting artifacts.

Quitting imo is admitting defeat, find out what is needed or change realm and lvl up a new char.

Armsmen need some love - unfortunately given albion's general overpopulation on the US servers I can see mythic being wary of improving anything in the classes that'll cause people to jump ship (that said how many fotm rerollers are there?) or more likely move back from their hib/mid chars on another server to the armsman they rolled 2 years ago

been playing 2 and a half years myself and my highest RR char is 4l7 I must be a n00b

That said I've heard of Warkrusher - never heard of freddina or jika

Oh and try rolling a smite cleric - gimpy as hell but they're fun or even a caster (though you did say you didn't want to)

i have known a few armsmans in my daoc time
some got another main, like myself
some tried to make an alt but when they had it the game wasnt what it used to be
some didnt want to make another main because theyve played armsman from day 1 and when they coudnt join the guild rvr grp they just quitted the game

i have been there warkrusher and i can understand u very well

problem with albion is the lack of decent groups

and when a decent group is formed they are reluctant to risk the groups success by inviting players they havn't grouped with before, a relevant phrase would seem to be "its not what you know its who you know"

i am very lucky to be involved in a permanent fixed group, however i also served my time joining random PUGS - and i know how hard it can be, it got to the point when my guild group wasn't running that i would rather solo than join a group with 3 paladins no clerics, 3 wizards and a cabalist something stupid like that

you need to invest time by forming a group with some friends who are in the same situation as yourself, or even asking to join a well known guild like First cohort, BoB or Synergy (very nice group of chaps)

i've had a 50 armsman in my time and know they arn't the best character but they can also be played well, e.g. Calamore, kagato, gunner and Ialkarn spring to mind

Since the release of TOA, ALOT !!!!!!!!!!! have left Daoc, and i cant blame them, it is totally retarded of mythic to actually think that the "somewhat casual players" will EVER get anywhere in this expansion. I think mythic know's it, and maby are trying to fix it before its too late. Looking at the server population's on the EU-servers, there are 300 - 400 less on EACH server on average, compared to the days before TOA. on top of that, the ML ability's are totally out of the Daoc line, giving a crappy expirience of what the Daoc once was.
