Fucking Infra-Red mouse :(

I've got a logitech infra-red mouse - thought I'd try it out on a gaming front.

What a load of fucking shit.


I can get used to the way it feels - it's a tad unusual and doesn't like being moved off the surface like a normal mouse does - but that's not the problem.

I play a lot of Tribes 2 - hence needing to hold down the right mouse button a lot (jetpack) whilst using the left button to fire with.

Only, the mouse can't cope.

If I fire with my LMB the jets go off. If I jet whilst firing continuously - the gun stops.

How fucking sucky is that!!!


Ho-hum! It's back to my old MS Mouse Trusty gr8 thing (dirty as fuck tho).

Anyone got an IR mouse out there that works good??????

I was lookin into buyin a Cordless Mouse, coz the mouse i got is startin to get annoyin, the wire gets stiff where it bends, so when im movin, i have to force it to go forward, which usually distracts me and gets meh killed :/

Works gr8 on my laptop though - I can sit in the front room, on my network, playing quake 3 or suchlike, with the whole floor as my mousemat
