OMFG they're turning that lovely fruit punch they use in Muspel into stuff that actually hurts! Where are we going to get our Irn-Bru now?!?!

Dark Age of Camelot

Version 1.66e Test Release Notes

October 15, 2003

===================================

NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES

- All lava in the game is now extremely damaging. Resistances will not mitigate damage from lava. Travellers should be very careful around lava flows.

Mystic epic takes you there too ;)

Read this earlier and thought... they're desperate for something to post on Camelot Herald to show they've been doing something. Both D and E revisions of 1.66 are teeny tiny could easily have been left and included later. Given that its not been long since 1.65 went live there, I don't understand the pressure to say something, anything, just to look busy :D

Looking forward to leading some noobs there and telling them its a teleporter though. Well, technically it is.

MUHAHAHAHAHAHA(TM)

I remember once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away...

...when I was XPing with Crohamond in a group near the fires of Muspelheim...we dared one of the groupmembers to jump into the lava just as long as we would rezz him after he had died... oh the memories... :D

Is there lava in other realms then midgard? It's the only place I've seen it atleast. It's another midnerf! :)

I had to visit muspel during part of the Dark places of the soul quest. Decided to swim across a lava stream. Way way back when I last visited the place to exp the lava was still harmless. I was dead in 2 sec this time :D

Lots of reasons to go to Musp. Its a generally nice area and very different from anywhere else in Mid.

There are some good one time drops there too: Gokstorm's Firecloak and the Brimstone Breastplate that drops from the Skeleton Commander further in and many others besides. Very handy for peeps levelling up.

The angry dwarf walking his dog drops a nice chain breastplate too.
