I don't think there was ever actually a PS3 version working to begin with all the previews were 360 versions maybe they just decided to not bother.

Anyway this game looks ace i played the demo and i am going to have lots of fun killing people with my RC helicopter fitted with 2 mini guns mwahahaha.

I played the demo and wasn't very impressed.. its no big loss for the PS3.

The multiplayer might be quite fun though I suppose.. depends how well it is worked out.

it's all about the mp. SP shouldn't be rated at all :) you wouldn't rate a BF game after playing a SP demo either, would you?

I disagree with that i dont always want to play online or have a mate over and it seems like a trend that i do not like the sigle player is being sacrafised for multiplayer. That is prolly just me. :)

I think it might end up as SP and MP games instead of games with a mix then we might get the best of both worlds?

the game is heavily focused on MP. You can see it with all the effort they've put into it (dedicated servers, huge maps, more players than usual etc) - Just like battlefield. The console version of BF has story mode aswell, but just about everyone goes right to the MP section, as it's what they bought it for :)

Im not saying that all games are about the MP, but this game definately is.

More often than not its all sacrificed for the Online multiplayer.

Offline multiplayer is losing out too, which is teh sucky.

This have any offline or is it all online?

If they're doing dedi servers etc, that's pretty neat :)

It has a full singleplayer campaign, not sure about splitscreen or local multiplayer. The game itself is very good, I am shocked the PS3 version is cancelled as this feels very much like a quality shooter.

Yep the online part is where the fun is at and if you don't have access to LIVE why the hell would you get this anyway?

Sorry Opti but splitscreen multiplayer was 5 years ago its been and gone.

This game is at the top of my list for feb must buys.

1. The singleplayer matters more than the multiplayer to me, always has and always will.

2. Splitscreen is the second most important thing I look for in a game. Often I have my mates around for some 4 player split screen FPS on my 50inch TV. It might not matter to you but it still matters to an awful lot of people.

1. You're clearly in the minority in not liking split screen. Already been established in another thread.

2. Also been said before but.. Why the hell must split screen go because it's "been done"? Its what got people to love consoles so much in the first place - its what helped them take off and its the reason many people, like myself, buy consoles at all.

Just because there's online multiplayer now, it in no way means offline multiplayer should be forgotten about..

I like having mates round for a game or twelve :S

Just because there's Live now, I don't see why I'm suddenly going to stop having mates around and I don't see all my friends buying 360's out of the blue. Very few of them own one.. and its much more fun (and sociable) having them over anyway.

Split screen has not "Been and gone" - COD4, The Club, GRAW2, Halo3 and several others all prove that. Its just narrow-minded devs rushing titles out that seem to have forgotten about it.. even on racing games ffs :S

..And if its just not possible to pull off easily anymore, that's a big hit to the 360's supposed "power" and capabilities.

/rant :)

Some people like it, some people don't.. most places I see the majority saying its a big factor in their purchase decisions and you get one or two people insisting its crap and a thing of the past. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean others don't love it :x

100% my feelings i buy a game for my enjoyment multiplayer is a added bonus to me.
