Top two help desk calls in my queue :-
In Microsoft Access, using VBA. but help facility not working. Will not display the topics. Tried on different servers

server 8,Message - TNS could not resolve server name
Trying to do a macro link to oracle

Top two emails in my list :-

Gents

Does anyone have any thoughts for what might be required at the Solihull office? Current thinking is a BDC and a small NAS (or something similar) for local backup of laptops. Anything else that needs to be close to the users (Sales, Marketing, bits of Finance, Purchasing, Operations, Logistics) I can't think of anything - it's not like a works where there are servers that have to be close to the plant.

Please let me know today if poss.

Thanks

Hope you're both well. I have just been speaking to Dean as I wanted to get an update from him about how the Infrastructure assessment went, he is finishing off his document and it should be with you shortly.
Something that we've been doing with a lot of our customers lately is helping them to set up a pilot environment for PS4. This is usually 2 servers using a scripted build (as this is not dependant on having the same hardware) where we can build the foundations of PS4 as well as adding some applications if you require it. The benefit of this is that it avoids the "Big Bang" approach, it allows you to get familiar with PS4 as well as testing it making the migration easier.
If this sounds like something you'd like to investigate further let me know and I can arrange a meeting to discuss it.

I have no clue what im suposed to be doing - tick tock - tick tock, off to argos after work to get a new TV stand :)
