French server bugged or something?

We made a grp of toons on a french server, kinda annoyed since we cant use the /reply-function at all, says you need to recieve a msg before you can reply..

any ideas?

if your client language isn't the same as the server language you can't reply (or climb walls for some odd reason)

same happens if you're using french client on an english server.

Been around since the start of the game I believe.

Another bug that lasts for 2 years and that shows that Mythic do nothing to make DAOC more 'multi languages'-friendly.

spamming abit here but:

changing update.dat alittle: exchange english to french and delete the folder language and let game update works just fine. Thanks for that link Ning
