Freeware Email Programs

Can anyone recommend a freeware email program that is actually usable, fits in less than 12 megs, and doesn't mess about with the registry? I'm getting sick of pegasus mail, which seems to have been written by a chimpanzee, eudora lite which seems similarly crap, and OE which can't remember its settings over a logout... As much as I'd like to use a dodgy copy of eudora pro, I don't think the admins would approve...

Anyone?

'Lo,

Go to www.winfiles.com and get iscribe.exe which I am told is very simple, is only for email and it doesn't mess with the registry at all (I am told)

Personally I use Agent from Forte for NG browsing and Email, and you can get Free Agent from http://www.forteinc.com/agent/freagent.htm

Hope this helps

I like Pegasus as you can monitor multiple POP's ...

hmm, well oddly I'm using OE and it has no probs at all, ok, now I don;t log in and out of my PC (sole user) so maybe that is the problem but it seems functional and doesn't crash at all often.
the fact it will grab the email from most POP servers off any connection is good too (OE4 didn't used to)
