so i bought FS1 + expansion and FS2 on www.gog.com

found a mod for FS2 that enables better resolutions + other fluff (FSOInstaller.com).

found a mod for FS1 that aparently does the same called sparky_hi_fs1.vp

only problem is that i have not a clue where to put it. and i really cant play this game in 640 * 480 resolution on a 22" widescreen monitor

been searching the web for an explanation bit i cant find any.

any of you guys know of a mod simmilar to the fsoinstaller that works for FS1?

or how to get that installer to work on that game? its supposedly able to but theres no explanation how to as far as i've found.

you could have D/L freespace 2 then D/L a FS1 mod you would get all the benefits of FS2 but be playing the FS1 campaign.

Haven't played in awhile, still an awesome series, its a shame they couldn't continue it. That and the X-Wing series are the best Space-Sims there are.

yeah but the only FS1 mod for FS2 i found left out to much of the FS1 stuff like the music, videos and other such things.
