Free stuff getting

Do any of you guys do it? Recently moved to a flat so finding it a cheap, casual way to get more furniture in the place. Currently the only thing I've managed to organise getting is a folding table, which I'll collect soon.
The only ones I've used so far are www.freecycle.org and http://www.ilovefreegle.org/ any others you guys know of?

Never bought a single piece of furniture in my life. Relatives and old roomies who buy new stuff/don't need anymore are the best way ever

I do visit some places that have throwaway junk during moves also, but never played with ze itnernets and those things are more for you foreigners.

I use freegle. Freecycle round here is a torrent of shite, freegle is a lot friendlier. I've used it quite a bit both ways, very handy for kids stuff as they grow out of things so quickly, also some furniture, garden stuff. Works really well.
