Free LvLs

If you are awarded a free level then you ding before you use it can it still be used ?

The reason I ask is because I got a free level & thought I best use it before I dinged incase I couldn't after, when I used it I had 0.3 blbs untill I dinged after I used it it changed to 5.5 blbs.

I also have another question, Many of the posts I have been reading have lot's of people saying how bad DAOC is and telling people to leave the game or not re-join or just moaning in general.

Why spend so much of your time on sonthing so bad ?

(people saying they don't like somthing isn't moaning it's life.)

It's just on the IGN board threres a post saying bring back the wait time to port to RvR and all these other people agreeing, when I used to play that was somthing everyone hated)

You can still use the free level after you ding but it's a set amount of XP depending on the level you receive it at (i.e. enough to get you 10 bubs of XP at your current level) so once you level up, that set amount of XP won't be enough to take you up to the next level, assuming you click on your trainer when you have 0.0 bubs.

Hope you can follow that because I'm not sure if I can.

You're level 29, in a killer XP group, having dinged 29 the night before.
You get a message saying "you have qualified for a free level, go see your trainer blah blah".
Bugger that, you think, I'm not walking out on XP like this. You stay in the group until you are level 30 and a few bubs.
You go see your trainer.
Your trainer gives you enough XP to get from level 29 to 30, which may or may not be enough get you to level 31 depending on how many bubs of 30 you had already got.
