Yes, guys and dolls, we now have our own wiki!

Due to the unbridled efforts of certain members of the Freddyshouse community who shall remain nameless a wiki has been created to encompass the phenomenon that is our little community, things that have touched it over the years, and utterly unrelated events that people deemed important enough to spend three minutes typing on!*

Some of the FH residents are already members, and if you're up for it you can join up too and submit articles of your favourite events from ye olde Barrysworld, Freddyshouse or other things from the recent (and not so recent) past well worth remembering.

Several dozen articles are already available for your viewing pleasure, and as a wiki is a [highlight]community-driven[/highlight] entity, I and the other wiki sysops are looking forward to you intrested folks exercising your creativity in new and surprising ways.

Gwaan then, sign up and have a go! It's not just a fun thing to do, it's from our posterior! Er, for posterity!

No idea what a wiki is or how it works? Well, you may have heard of the wikipedia? Well, this is exactly the same. How a wiki works? Some kind souls have created the fhwiki help section to get you started. More complete and nerdy stuff is available on the web and we've also linked to it from our site.

Enjoy! Remember, we're aiming for light heated fun pokery, moderate seriousness and reminiscing of ye olden daze of yore. If you're in doubt, FHwiki has taken the liberty of pilfering the general FH CoC and we all obey that don't we

Teeds, need a way to show who has changed entries, or show additions on the end of existing entries.

Currently one persons work just gets overriden by anyone who comes along.

Isn't that just the way Wikis work? You just see the last person to modify a section in the 'recent changes' section at the moment. *shrugs*, new to this Wiki stuff...

Can you set levels of access for different bits or maybe 'lock' posts? I did think when I overwrote a section on the history of BW/GAME.Net that Shovel wrote that it was a bit unfair on him (it did need correcting and expanding though). Could get very complicated giving people different levels of access though.

There's a history tab that allows you to view each version and how edited/created that version.

I can lock pages so that only sysops can edit.
