It's pretty much Facebook, but just the status update...
What's Facebook? - Facebook is pretty much sending enmass text outs to everyone informing of them what you're up to
What's texting? - It's a slightly quicker way of sending letters in the post.
What's sending letters? - It's informing people through the use of writing words and structuring sentences and possibly paragraphs onto paper ( usually ) and putting it in a envelope and sending it to people that you wish to inform about the information that you're spreading.
Twitter is quite good for following your favourite celebs, some of them post twitpics of what they're doing. It's the ultimate voyeuristic peep show into a 'strangers' life. I follow a lot of top golfers and I like seeing how they spend their money, what private planes their flying on, what they eat for breakfast and what Wendy's waitress their fucking (Tiger only). The chance to reply to their tweets can be interesting, particulary if you get a retweet of something you say.
It's weird seeing an impossible world of Hollywood, then seeing what they do day in and day out. It's certainly makes the world feel like a smaller place.
