So I love multiplayer gaming but I'm faced with 2 issues:

1) I end up exclusively playing the same game because I'm good at it.
2) I have no friends to play with.

Speaking with a chap at work we were trying to figure out some good MP games which we could rotate monthly and get newbies involved in. So I got thinking that this would be a good idea for our favourite green forum.

Just to a get a feel for the idea:

Who would be up for designating a new game (free to play or otherwise) each month that the majority might own on steam/origin etc. and having regular MP sessions? For example, I'm keen to try some MP RTS games as I've never had the balls to risk a kicking online (and I have fucking loads I haven't played yet). The idea being some community fun and to ease newbs into different games... not a troll fest

Feel free to modify the idea, come up with suggestions or say 'piss of leggy this is a shit idea'.

as mentioned in the Elite;Dangerous thread im happy for people to use my ventrilo server if they want

as for games, there is a lot out, both "classic" (L4D1 + 2) and newer stuff
im usually around, im in the FH group on Steam, and im usually up for touchy-time

i would do more than 1 per month, or reduce frequency to maintain motion though, otherwise might stagnate, weekly or fornightly prob work ?
