Freddies Running Slow

Over the last few days Ive noticed that the FH forums are very slow to load (sometimes takes 2 minutes or more to load a thread), whereas before it was reasonably speedy. Using IE latest version. Also slow with Mozilla v1.0. Other sites seem fine although havnt tried any large forums.

Seems to have coincided with my last Microsoft Update although that may just be coincidence. FH seems just fine (today) on my PC here at work to which I havnt applied updates yet.

Anyone out there also noticed a slowdown?

Yes last night I could not post a full template as it kept timing out. had to settle for an abbreviated form.

Using Mozilla from a work 1mb leased line it's almost bearable, it's unusable from my home 750k cable connection IE or Mozilla.

Pings are fine, traceroutes look fine. Server load?
