Fraps probs..

oki doki here goes..

when ever i record footage and save it in the folder, then open the folder (just looking at the files) my computer starts to slowly crash..
altho i can open the files nps with programs like media player, virtual dub, vlc player etc etc
so after running AVG it found a trojan (Downloader.Generic2.MYA) in the fraps.exe file..

so u think it is the fraps trojan thats causing the raw files to become corrupt ?
and any ideas of how to kill off the trojan without actually deleting the fraps.exe file ?

and i havent got any other viruses / spyware ( that were found ) on the comp atm... using AVG7.5, Ad-Aware SE and have norton firewall ( ye i know norton but /shrug )

Guessing you didn't pay for Fraps, if you got that issue

Need to delete the file, or it'll get quarenttieneneed and you won't be able to use it anyway.

So you actually bought it from FRAPS show fps, record video game movies, screen capture software ? If you did, adding viri is illegal.

If you didn't, use a better source and use a virus scanner -_-
