Ive just dinged my friar 50 and was looking for some temps (not many around)
so tried to do my own
Pls dont laugh as its my first attempt at doing one
Im solo friar.

friars damage is dex not strength.. i have a uber battle friar templalte but its expensive

Get rid of the str, it's useless for friars.

More quickness is a must.

If your going to gimp either heat or cold, gimp heat.

Get rid of the strength and get your adjusted quickness to 250.
Staffs swings pretty slow and quickness affects your evade.

Some more AF is always welcome too, if you can slot it in.

Get cold resist up and lower matter, energy or spirit (personaly i'ld get rid of the matterres).

If you're gonna be 100% solo then stick to the Eerie darkness stone, but if you plan on doing some grouping too i'ld go for the Egg of youth.

Pretty nice temp btw, nice result for using no flipping expensive stuff :)

never make a solo melee template without EP if you can get it. 50% life/end/power is just to nice to skip

TBH, for a first attempt I'd say that's pretty good! Nice stats and ToA bonuses. The only comment I'd make is about the low Cold resist, is there any way you could change that?

Generally I always try to cap Body, Cold, Heat, Slash, Crush and Thrust. Then if I need to gimp something I can gimp Energy, Matter and Spirit.

I've never played a Friar and someone who has may spot a glaring omission, but if you can fiddle with your resists then it looks good to me. Well done :clap:

As was said , for your first attempt it is quite solid bar the strength dex misunderstanding .

For parry and evade and ofc your dmg you will need your 250 quick cap and ofc 101 dex .

Your resists are nice however I would try and fit some toys in there for solo . Can friars get bracer of Z ? If so the use 2 fumble charge is very nice but I dont know if you can fit it in . Harpy cloak is nice, if you can drop one or two resists to fit in EP I think you will find it worth while , especially considering most of your styles give you back health also . Your armour factor is nice, if you could bring it up to 30 plus without forsaking anything vital then thats rockin !

Keep your 11 parry baring in mind every parry point is .05% chance .

So rework the quick and dex, drop one or two of your resists down a bit ( spirit / matter / body / energy ) and see what you can add to it from there .

Energy is enchanter pb / sorc mezz and thane dd ? Thanes are becoming a bit more frequent now but nothing I would give full resist to .. 10% ish should be ok I think but thats my opinion . Body is mainly albion dmg , matter ...well if ure gonna get warlocked then ure dead anyway and lgms are not being used so .. spirit is ? theurg dd ? and sms isnt it ? anything else vital ? I cant remember but I dont think so , I reckon you could drop that down to near nothing if your full purpose is to solo .

Oh one more thing if I could be as bold to suggest it , friars have such good tools between getting health back , static tempest etc but if you could fit ceremonial bracer into your template then you could use the stun immunity charge , grapple someone ..back away and heal up . Would help if you get jumped or added on or if you are against a very high realm rank opponent . You will be choosing that battlemaster bg ml line rather than the perfector - fop doesnt help in duels :p

Energy is also going to be valk damage in the near future, and I can assure you they are about to become very FotM for soloing. Capping it is about to become almost vital.

Body is also all assasin poisons so i'd attempt to cap that as well.
