Hi Doods

How can I increase my FPS in CS? At the mo its Max is 60, but I heard someone say they can get 100ish?

i think XP caps your FPS to 60

You have vsync on , which is limiting your fps to your to your refresh rate.
If you turn vysnc off your fps will increase to a maximum of 100 fps, although you may see some visual tearing. using fps_max 101 helps with this.
Or you can increase your refresh rate, as i do, to say 85, by a variety of ways depending on your video card.

How do I turn the vsync off Throddy

From memory with an NVidea card its right-click on desktop then, properties>advanced and follow it from there , it will be in OpenGL options.
With NVidea cards Vsync is on by default, and with ATI its off by default for some reason , so Id assume you have a Geforce ofsome description ?
