Me on on the other hand, I told y'all at the start of this I've retired from CSS, so I'll keep an eye out for anything else.

Another thing - Wij, those dates and excuses you've given, they mean you cant play at all at any point because of those reasons? Youi cant be playing a lot of pc gaming any more mate

How do you figure

CSS - bigger hit boxes = alot easier to spray and and headshot your way up the food chain (because lets face it, no one cares about objectives in public games)

CS 1.6 - tiny hit boxes = near impossible to spray and get consecutive headshots.

No arguement to be made really, games speak for themselves.

Heard it a thousand times, yet there were still lots of really good CSS players. If it was a messed up as you say, anyone could have beat anyone else. Yet they didnt.

Shit what do I know, I only played about a thousand ED matches ...

that doesnt really matter. Its the same for all. Its maybe easier to get a frag, but good players will beat bad players. in CS 1.6 its just harder to get a frag and so its harder to be perceived as good.

i care not for CS anyway, its a pussy game. HL is where its at. Jet pack + xbow + Headshot = good players

No one is denying there are good CSS players, we're simply saying 1.6 requires more skill to kill people, you just can't deny that.

Mate I played 1.0 1.1 etc etc all the way through, it's only slightly different in source, and it looks a lot better. To be honest I always thought old CS was completely unrealistic, you could stand right behind someone with an MP5 and empty a full magazine into him, and he wouldnt die. I know Valve would have you beleive that is recoil, but thats nonsense, an MP5 hardly recoils at all, and it certainly dont matter at 5 yards range anyway.

However, on reflection, I beleive Marcs comment to be the correct one, so I'll stfu

Yet on Source the AWP hardly recoils, infact, nothing recoils, everyone runs like they've shit themselves, the flashbang buzz is just pure annoying, the hitboxes were broken, probably fixed now.

It's kinda funny how Complexity (a 1.6 team) went to source, and destroyed it, so went back. It's not on the 1.6 level at all, i don't doubt its a good game, but it's easier. P.S. MP5 is terrible in 1.6 nobody uses it.
