FPS and console commands

Hi peeps,

I am having a problem with showing my framerate.

I bring down the console and type ......

frameCounter() ..... invalid syntax or whatever
framecounter() ..... invalid syntax or whatever
frameCount() ..... invalid syntax or whatever
framecount() ..... invalid syntax or whatever

I have seen all these mentioned in documentation somewhere but none of them work.

Is there also a function for displaying a netgraph or packet loss ?

is fps counter, and you can get a scipt at http://t2.redphive.org/pingometer.html for the ping

all details up full = 8-25 fps
all details low (high visible distance) = 30-80

Grabbed the ping, fps, player totals and the flag one.

do you have any good links for scripting docs and help ? a complete object model would be really nice.

this scripting seems very powerfull, isn't there just going to be loads of cheats made with it ?

There aren't any lists or help for scripting. Your best bet is to look at other ppls scripts and in scripts.vl2. There have been a few cheat scripts, not seen anything really bad yet tho. Hopefully they will patch when there is.

Been playing games since my atari 2600 and VIC-20. I STILL can't understand why anyone would want to cheat in an online game.

What sort of 'cheat scripts' are ya on about Crunchy m8?

Personally - the only scripts I use are Ender's KoN Taunt's script Nee!

(May grab your FPS HUD tho).

damage_range=10000

well i tried editing one of the scripts for the grenade and set the damage range to 10,000. didnt seem to make much diff.

I take it that the client (your software) works in some kinda sandbox to prevent you doing dodgy stuff.

Does this mean I can edit any scripts I want on my machine and not run the risk of being accussed of cheating.

I want to play with the HUD positions and settings , but I'm worried I'll be banned or something.

Would an auto-repair script be possible ?
