Forumla for bolts?

Anyone know if theres any way to calculate your %-chance to hit a target with bolts?

think it's around 2% to hit and it was around 1% in 1.60 .

Same as a melee hit isnt it? If there's a formula for that, I dont know

Damage cap of bolt say like 780

Then armour absorb say 27%

And resist is 26%.

So 780-200(roughly)=580

580-150(roughly)=430

Maybe something like that,armour absorb+resists subtracted from bolt damage cap....don't think anyone knows to be honest the exact formula.

I dont wanna know the damage, just what the change to hit is

AF ABS and resists alter bolt damage, as for to hit, well it cant be off weapon skill so probley something like a set to hit altered by spec, try and send it in for the grab bag

i think maybe
just an uneducated guess

that after firing a bolt its like a melee attack
it picks a random area of the target body to hit
then uses the % chances of hitting that part of the body
