It seems like Channel4 are starting to show foreign films again, along with American and British stuff, late on Sunday/Monday/Tuesday nights.
If anyone has never checked out the films they tend to show at those times, you're missing some mad stuff. Over the past year or two, they've shown loads of really weird and interesting films, the kind of things that leave lasting impressions. Last week they showed l'Appartement, which was a really intriguing French film, that really did something different with the whole love-triangle concept. There was some thing about a boy who wanted a sex change on this week, but i didn't watch it because it seemed a bit dull.
The kind of things they show are really unique, and deffinately worth checking out if you like original films that don't just conform to the Hollywood "lets make shitloads of money" approach. Really worth staying up for.
