Forceful Zephyr

Is Forceful Zephyr going to be nerfed anytime soon? Ive come across someone using it twice on me and omg... can you say 'overpowered?'

In the hands of a minstrel it is insane, think about this, they have stealth, it has a reuse time of 2 minutes, so they can stealth til its active then happily pick a target knowing their insta 9s stun and their 10s (or however long it is, seems like 10 seconds anyway) ability is going to win it for them no matter what. The advantage of having something that totally disables the target for 19? seconds is stupid!

This ability alone is overpowered, without insta stun along with it.

Whatever you might think this isn't a whine over anyone killing me with this ability, it's more of an observation and a question of whether anything is going to be done about this.

ye i got it..cant get it to work in PvE tho. In RvR i havent tried it yet, sounds good on paper.

I came across something in Odins, few people i asked said it sounded like Zephyr. It was at the frore lich camp in Odins, Twilight or whatever hes called where attacking me, I pressed moc and started to lifetap, after the 2nd tap it said 'you cannot cast while riding' lol

This is one of the few ML abilities that requires a bit of manovering and skill to get full use.

Id way rather see grapple or body guard nerfed that this.

How much bullshit can you put in a thread?

First: zephyr simply forces you to move to a set GT.. you can still use active RAs or potions or whatever.. it doesnt 'stun' you.

Second: when the fuck was the last time you got stunned by a mincer for 9sec? when you were lvling your alt in the frontier or smt? get some SC and resists.

It's not overpowered, its difficult to use for a good outcome, the better you use it and the better you are at using it, the more beneficial the results will be - IMO this is the way things should be in daoc.

I think that would kill most casters, since they can't...cast whilst riding.

Christ did you read anything I said, I knew there would be some retard who come and ruined this thread.

forceful zephyr may allow you to use RAs, but it doesn't let you purge it, so thats 10 seconds where you float around in the air getting hit while you can't do anything, 2ndly minstrel have insta stun, it may not last 9s, maybe around 6 on my fully capped char, thats still around 16s where you can't do shit to a minstrel unless you have purge up, to purge the stun, even after that you have to endure being thrown around for 10 seconds...

If you take some time to run out solo you would understand, if you haven't faced this ability 1on1 then please, keep quiet.

You may not think this ability is overpowered, but then again you hit like a girly as a bard, and you don't have 2 DD shouts that hit for 150 - 200 and an insta stun.

You say you need skill to use it? Sure ya do, roll a minstrel with stealth, stand in 1 place, wait for a solo to come walking by, use forceful zephyr, hit him while hes floating around and can't do shit, once that runs out, stun, theres another 6 seconds free dmg for you, targets must be near enough dead by now? unless hes a solo warrior...

you missed my point, zephyr alone is overpowered, along with minstrel stun its a joke...

I haven't encountered grapple so I can't comment on it, sorry.
