She love you loooong time, soldier!

I was so happy to have my own thread, and even more so to find a dog dressed as if he's the alien in a fifties sci fi film. To all you grumpy thread ruiners - I will eat your souls and poop out sweetcorn sized fragments of your life if you dare tarnish this one.

Wahaaaay!!

:D

Thank you!

I am so glad you saw it, knew you would appreciate/get it.

Version 1.1 will be under way during the festive season. Olly(my dog) cannot wait and hes already coming up with ideas for a space helmet.

No, your dog is just miserable because he has to lick your stinking face.

If a dog doesn't enjoy something, it will let you know. Sure, it might be embarrassed by the indignity of what you are doing to it, but it will endure it because it loves you, the same way you wear the frilly hat your gran knitted you, or the novelty tie with singing reindeer on that your mum thought would be a good ice breaker at work. My sister used to dress up our cats, and the cat showed its appreciation by trying to remove my sisters face. We used to dress up our dog, and he quite liked the attention, though sometimes he would throw off the hats. If you know your own pets, you know what they will and won't enjoy/tolerate/hate you for, down to their own personalities.

rest assured if I ever tried to dress up my other dog she would take my fingers off, she even goes apeshit when I try to pull thorns out of her feet.

Absolutely, if a dog doesn't like it you'll know.

My dog for instance hates anything at all going near her...including any human outside our family.

Awwww shes cute!

I want one of those doggies next. Apparently I will need to quit work and all other activities to keep a Springer amused.

Close, she's a Sprocker (springer/cocker cross)

She's amazing, really spritely and still like a puppy to this day (9 years old now)

My parents were going to get another puppy as apparantly it's best when you have an older dog as it 'teaches' the younger one by example. They didn't because they were unsure if I was going to be a jobless bum for as long as I have been and as such nobody could look after it. Shame...I could teach it to chew up chavs.

I prefer dogs but we have a cat atm. He does fuck all, except kill small mammals, make noise when he wants food, fart & shit on Mrs Yucks face. If I go near him he transforms into a garden shredder.

we had a welsh springer, I was to young to really remember him in his young days though. Great dog though :).

(welsh springer is smaller version of the english one)

I dont think he was the dog who liked to be dressed up though, but he would do it if you really wanted to :p.

On a totally different but bizarre note, why is one of my cats so interested in the root ends of the carrots that I throw in my waste paper basket? What possible use could a cat have with a 0.5 inch carrot?

how come it appears in my post on my screen then?
Once you've viewed, it's stored in your browser cache, and so displays properly in the rest of the post.

C+P and refresh did the trick for me, can see it now.

Is it acctually possible to make pictures appear reliably in a thread and not just a link?
