Asus A7v8x

Well because you cant go wrong with Asus, they are fast, stable and maybe a bit expensive but hey

took the a7v8x cause it had all the features i wanted and wasnt too expnsive

got one of these MSI 333 athlon boards.

some DDR 333 ram with it and it was a big step up from my old one.

normally like A-Open stuff but this one i like because it has everything i needed onboard: sound/usb etc

i am a big fan of keeping systems as simple as possible, just a fo powerful athlon, a ton of RAM and a GF4 on the board.

ECS K7S6A because it is very cheap, very fast and absolutely rock solid stable.

The only downside is a lack of overclocking options, but apart from that it is the perfect mobo imo.

Also no built-in networking or video etc., but I have no need for all that stuff.
