For the archers, concerning quickness and bowspeed

I was wondering how much Quickness you need to reduce the standard notching speed? Possibly with a whole second, if not 0.5.

Simple as that.

Seen this posted elsewhere on BW regarding draw times.

Draw Time = [1-(Qui^-60)/500] * (1-MoA%) * Bow Speed

Attack Speed (capped at 1.5s) = [1–(Qui^–60)/500] * (1–haste%) * Spd

For Qui below 250, Qui^ = Qui
For Qui above 250, Qui^ = (Qui-250)/2 + 250 (e.g. 270 Quickness is = 260 Qui^ for the formula)

I suck in math. That tells me nothing, I'm afraid.

Basically, if you're using a 5.5 speed bow and have no Mastery of Archery RA then you'd get the following drawtimes....

194 QUI = 4 second drawtime (4.037s to be precise)

287 QUI = 3 second drawtime (3.003s to be precise)

Obviously, the faster the bow you use, the lesser the increase in QUI needed; but that's just an example to show you the difference using the slowest bow available.

Ah, so I wont notice anything until at least level 30?

Oh well. Hunting bows are fine for now.
Would be nice drawing them at 1.5 Second though ,)

for leveling you want a slow bow so you can get a massive crit shot off

I always pull with a critical shot using a longbow, then switching to hunting bow after I've released the arrow.

Aye, by the time you've fiddled round with swapping bows you could probably get 2 shots off with your heavy bow (maybe 3 sometimes). :)

Strong tactic! Do you die often? :)

My old Jocelyn didn't.
My new one can't afford having two bows yet :)
