Similar post is going through right now but since its weekend and I would love to get some gametime in any help will be greatly appreciated.

Problem:
Whenever I hit the "/" key on the numpad or the R key mapped as the key to reply to Pms, my character starts to spin clockwise.

Tried following things

a- remapping turn keys and other functions to other keys to see if the / and R would copy their actions ( no result still spinning )

b-Deleting user dat files, Keyboard dat, The game Dll , you name it ( even tried removing em one at a time to see where the problem is situated ) to see where the problem is located. Result Nada, still spinning

c-Complete reinstall a) over the old install to see if it would help. result nada.

d-Complete fresh install in a new directory. No result.

tried a combination of b and c, also without result.

With the things i tried it seems to point in something in the registry or a problem with my mouse/keyboard. Since my mouse and keyboard are fine in all the other games/applications running on this computer it seems its something in the registry then again I am not that big a techead :/ If anyone who had simimar problems knows how to anwser this plz drop me a line here.

The anomaly is new to me, but I do now there is a so-called run-bug. After hitting Num-Lock to run, and rehitting to stop running, it fails and you cotinue to run. Maybe your anomaly is related somehow to that bug.
The run-bug can be cancelled by htting the different arrow-keys like mad. I have not yet taken the step to write to mythic, hoping others would confirm that it was a bug and also being content with the way it is cancelled.

You said that the keyboard works with other applications, but have you tryed to change keyboard neverthe less? I did with the run-bug....No help, I still get it.

to remove the auto run bug:

1. rotate camera

2. start running

3. pitch the view up or down a bit

4. press auto run

Damn I assumed so many Albs coem to camp ligen because thy're just mean, but I realise they've onyl been affected by the run bug and couldn't stop in crim!

Seems the pb happens more often in the direction of alb pk either, and quite many hibs seem to get infected by contagion :/

Hehe... maybe we have solved the mystery of why Albs always run. They are really just trying to take a few steps back to get ready to fight, but get stuck on auto run all the way to the PK. This explains so much!

My /r function never worked in any of the release versions (was fine in beta tho). Whenever someone´s sending me a pm and I try to /r to it, it says something along "You have to receive a message first in order to reply". So basically, I always have to type /send [name] when I want to pm someone, which can be pretty annoying when someone named "Kiltyaschargedsenimdown" (hi kilty is /pm ing me.

Also, when I`m in auto-run mode and I`m trying to say something in /gu or wherever else, I can´t use Shift. When I do (for "?"´s or whatever), my current textline dissapears and a random textline (from an earlier conversation) appears.

Are they EVER gonna fix this?

can't remember how you fix it - but I know it causes problems...

Running win 2k and azerty keyboard. Rotation problem is fixed. For some reason the way my 4th mouse button was mapped (F7 and dont ask me why) caused the spin even though it was fine before. And the camera trick works for alot of anomalys when it comes to R Enter or / it seems.
