pfft, somehow his wonderfully thought through arguments fail to utilise the fact that a faster speed offhand allows greater damage overtime, so LA dmg will be higher over time if he didn't use 2 equal speed axes, but yeah, so what if you cant quite remove the dmg penalty LA incurs, the haste property more than compensates for the penalty

Malev, problem being if we rely on the Haste effect to compensate the base damage of LA, then we are FORCED to utilize the slowest mainhand and fastest offhand to fully compensate with Haste.

Whereas an inf can use two super fast 16.5 weaps and not lose any ground, a Shadowblade cannot viably go 2.9 spd 16.5 + 2.9spd 16.5 as our compensating haste effect is now redundant.

Instead we are forced to use either 16.2 @ 4.2 spd + 15.0 @ 2.4 spd (maximum haste) or 16.5 @ 4.0 spd + 16.5 @ 2.9 spd.

Its about 5% diff in swing speed between the two above examples.

Anyway this is liek the least of SB problems post 1.62 anyway, so no point getting worked up eh :D

Besides even WITH the haste effect granted by Leftaxe Infs and NS as of 1.62 will swing faster than SB's (as they always have) and hit harder each swing too.
