Well done tonight all albies, alot said it was to late to stop the Midgaard horde, but we rallied and handed it to them, maybe next time the fight will take place in their courtyard! Its allways harder to react then to act, but I thought everyone showed will and stubborness, it was especially nice to hit the "vaunted" gank groups on our way and leave them in our wake like cockroaches!

This was indeed a fun evening (despite the unbearable lag on my comp :().
It´s been a refreshing and inspiring experience to see Albion actually working together to achieve a goal, instead of bitching and moaning and shouting at each other.
Extremely well led, Brommix. Thanks all.

The crunch point was; all mid attacked Beno, loads of Albs inside just nuked the shit out of them from the walls.

After that, it was easy.

yah, think if we'd been with the zerg it'd have been painful (the final fight at surs was slideshow for me :() but recapturing our ports probably confused the mid zerg enough that it helped draw a few from the eras fights :)

Think the mid charge to surs 3 was what sealed their fate - they killed our bg* but left themselves exposed to the main alb one hitting them in the back - tis nice to see so much red deathspam for a change :)

well done all, and good work brom in getting the alb zerg to all point the same way for a change :)

* almost - apparently some cleric was macing people in the water....

One day the mids might actually grow the balls to attack the mushroom realm for a change, you'd think the easymoders might be a bit braver.

atleast mids try , attempts on relicraids from hib or alb side have been sorely lacking since first weekend after cluster.

i also find it harder being the attacker than the defender but that might just be me having wrong take on it , ofc mid not having petspam might be part of reason in our difference in views here.

id say show us then how to do it , pop over to hib next weekend primetime , polish the brass ones and bring home a hip hib power relic for alb :)

Mids come sniffing around Berks or Eras

Albs freely attack midgard and hibernia depending on how we feel on the day, we don't pick the realm thats 'easiest', unlike hibgard. Whilst mids and hibs wont dare attack each other because they know which realms are over powered and stronger at the moment.

How often have you seen hibs or mids take each others keeps since cluster compared to attacking albions keeps? That speaks for itself.

how often have you seen albs or hibs take a keep after cluster ?, that speaks even louder for itself.

if you dont like the easy rp from people trying to take your keeps in primetime we can go hib easily and give em to them , difference would be the bainshees would end it so fast that albs (unlike hibs) wouldnt get there in time to leech:)

been at a couple of keeptakes

most of the time we end up running back home to stop the mid invasion or the hib invasion. Just because people want to set up irvr in albion doesn't mean midgard are the "supreme takers of keeps"...

In the majority of keep attacks I've seen lately, hib and mid have been in the alb frontier at the same time, or if albion has been attacking elsewhere the third realm has sailed over to attack albion. It's not all the time (was a load of mids in the alb frontier and hibs were attacking a mid keep for a change rather than going for irvr :puke: )

Whether it's because we're seen as the "overpopulated realm" (which we're not - at least not in terms of RvR. more mids in the frontier on sunday than albs :p never mind the hibs - whether this is because more albs are playing their hibs/mids or just less albs go to the frontier who knows)
or because we're just the easier target (no bainshees or warlocks to deal with) or (tinfoil hat time) due to some big conspiracy of hibgard dominance we seem to be the preferred target.

Personally i think it's the second reason - easy target ;) it's not fun to fight in a keep vs bainshees or warlocks, so if I could attack somewhere and not have to deal with either I would...

Though the tinfoil hat thing might not be entirely out there though - the IRVR is most definitely a hib/mid collusion (though I'm know some albs are all for that crap they can't do much to help it come into effect other than "do nothing" or bitch at their realmmates for defending) - not the entire realms but a sizable number of them (and if you're not one of the "ringleaders" you're still far more likely to go "ooh we're taking eras that sounds fun" than "screw irvr you crossrealming noobzors!" as a hib/mid involved)

When it's an actual invasion I don't think there's intentional organised cross-teaming, it might be some people see an advantage and think "ooh albion is weak lets get a keep and maybe nick a relic" or "ooh easy rps lets go farm the people trying to defend" or "bah I hate those albs lets kick em while they're down".

well done to everyone!!!!!!!!
but tbh at some point i was afraid that the defence was going to collapse and we were going to loose everything we got. i'm talking about the argument in the bg.
pls guys when there is a defence bg listen to leader and if he is wrong suggest him what you think its right or what wrong he is doing. dont break bg into pieces.
