plz post your template below, i'm trying to make an uber template wich caps my dex/con/stre and also increases it caps. caps every resistand hits , and +11 in every skill, but it also has to include good toa bonusses. Been trying to work something out 3 hours in a row now, and any ideas/templates to get ideas from would be greatly appreciated :)

I think you are trying for the impossible if you want to have it all capped. As a scout you can't have +25 dex cap and every resist capped. You must choose how you like to play and make the template accordingly.

If I had to redo it all, i would cut down on the numbers of artis - to reduce PvE - as the difference is not that huge considering the time invested. The only artis I consider a "must have" is GsV, Braggat's and SoM. Then you can throw in 1-2 dex cap increasing items, balance resists and have a good template. However, GsV is a major pain in the ass to level, and so is braggat's bow - some ppl say braggat's is fast, but imo they must have lost sense of time after lvling GsV - I don't feel it's fast at all=)

I know you would probably like me to post a complete template here, but I feel this is best if you do yourself. Only you know how much energy you want to invest in PvE, and what "rare/expensive" items your budget allows. So good luck m8, hope you can make the best of it with the least possible rectal pain.

In the end, you'll never cap EVERYTHING, just not enough space on suit when including lower utility arts, at best you'll have maybe 1-2 resist lines gimped to get the ToA bonuses and arts in to the temp.

imo whos attackin/shootin first will win the fight mostly so get iteams which caps ur dex. Most Dmg in the shortest possible time have 2 be ur Goal 2 reach.

I tried to max dex cap, archery speed, range and damage when creating my template and as has been mentioned in previous posts it is impossible to max everything.

I use the bullhorn bow as my bow of choice and my aim was to get 2 second non crit fire on it, which i achieved.

ofc it's better to have as much dex as possible, but tbh, 2x extra dex wont give you THAT much more dmg, blockrate etc. I have tested both with 4xx dex and 38x, and decided to cap more resists.

If you fire 1 crit + 2-3 normal shots (and hit), you will probaly kill your target with both 38x dex and 4xx dex. If you miss one of the shots, i strongly doubt that extra dmg will make the killing difference.

If you're intent on using a few ToA items, then you're not going to be able to cap everything (resists, stats, skills, etc). Somewhere along the line you have to decide which are the least important to your playstyle, and lose them.

I've spent a couple of weeks on off trying to make a Scout template, and its damn hard. There are a few items which I definitely want off the bat, like the Scarab Vest, Mariashas Gloves, Ring of Dances etc, but then you're stuck with only 3 or 4 bits of armour which you can spell craft. Throw in the fact that if you want a legendary heat weapon, then you're gonna have to find somewhere to add all that extra thrust/slash skill as well. In short, there just isn't enough space.

Why +11 to every skill?

If your skill is already at Lvl 50 why take it over?

.....because many skills can go up to "70" effectiveness with bonuses. 50 isn't always the "limit"

For what its worth as well, this is the best I've come up with so far - though I'm not happy with it yet so doubt I'll be using it.

This is with sword/shield equipped, when bow is equipped it bumps Archery Range to 10, Damage to 9, and Speed to 6. Skill is also past +11 and quick goes up by another 18 (making 68) - fine for me who put 15 in quickness to start with :clap:

Well... weaponskill continues to rise past 50 spec, as does block/parry chance. I'm not certain about chants

+chants for a paladin does absolutely nothing. Which Mythic finally realised changing most +chants drops to something else

It has damage vs. Humanoids which works in RvR does it not? I've been told it does, though naturally its hard to test whether you're doing 2% extra damage on someone or not ;)

the number of archery bonus items are so few and those with them have 2% and 3%. while i see cleric/caster items with +5-10% bonuses.

*Leveling Scout items:
-Mariasha: on sharks.
-Scarab vest : on scarabs.
-braggart: on snakes.

zZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. with albion having no end regen outside group.

hf lvling your fotm and making smth decent out of it.

No it doesn't work in rvr, its a pve only bonus.

There are only 3 bonus "types" that work in PvP/RvR:

1) Artifacts: Unrestricted, works on everything
2) ML10 Bow: "Player Races", works only in PvP/RvR
3) Belt of Sun Bow: "all", should work exactly like artifacts

Aye archery items are few and far between and i agree with the fools bow comment, although braggarts does do decent damage. Scout templaes are hard to make and will cost alot of plat but they are possible.

Im gonna use the sun bows personally or ML10 bow if i can ever get it.

I had a scout since day 1 they released eu-daoc. but deleted it when i went to check mid out. made a scout the day i came back to albion, so hardly fotm.

oh and : I will have fun , i had fun pre toa with my scout, will have fun with him once the artis are lvld :)

Ahh shame about the cloak of the gale then as its got nice stats apart from that :/ As for this Sun Bow, is this coming in future patches because I get no Bow weapon from my sun belt.
