For anyone considering H. Highway

On another forum, a guy called Pickl3d pointed me in the direction of www.solwise.co.uk when I was asking about where to get ISDN cards online. When I looked at the page, they were offering £40 cashback if u order your HH through them and order an ISDN product at the same time.
Needless to say I was a bit miffed seein as I'd just ordered my HH from BT 2 days earlier Anyway, for those considering getting HH, with the £40 cashback they are definitely worth a look.

I feel your pain

When I ordered HH back in Spetember 1998, I had to buy the (cr*ppy) BT Speedway ISDN card for £50 as it was the only one available at the time. About 2 weeks later they were giving them away free !

However, "free" is still overpriced for a BT Speedway, they should pay you ! When I moved to an Eicon Diva Pro ISDN card my Quake2 ping dropped about 50 !

Needless to say, i got my HH ordered and set up through Solwise - to get an efficient and quick service, along with a wubbly asuscom isdn card

Very pleased with how they sorted BT out so quickly.

Must agree here, its the way to go.

Yea thats were I got me cosy isdn/asuscom combo. The £35 quid payback was nice too Altho it took about six months to arrive!!!!

I can understand BT taking six months to do anything

hehe, finga, got unlucky then mate i think

got my isdn card 2 days after ordering, and BT were here within the week
so much so i emailed Solwise to compliment them on their service.

Hehe, I meant the cashback took about six months to arrive. The card actually arrive afew days later and the Bt d00d installed the isdn line about two weeks after that.

I had to use me olde modem in the hpw cup, gosh that brought back some old memories. Luckly the in-game pj gave me time to remember how kack modems are!

I gotta give up the ciggies to be able to afford the HH line rental , but if it means never hearing a V90 handshake again it'll be worth it
