ive never had £250 in my box.
would be a bit of an odd place to store cash tbh.
plus it would prolly smell a bit funky afterwards so u might have trouble spending it...

Speaking of this, Ricky Jarvais has turned down a lifetime achievement award because Noel Edmonds was presenting it...

Im sorry, but apart from the Office, he has done nothing

You serious? lol.

Anyway, I'm not a big fan of Noel myself, he's allright, but he believes that "Law of Attraction" bullshit :/

Well said

Billy Connelys tours on BBC1 were hilarious as well, even though they cut out all the blue stuff :p

Its Ricky Gervais, and imo the radioshows are hilarious. They used to be on xfm, now on free podcasts. Presented with Karl Pilkington and Stephen Merchant.

Wasn't a big fan of him untill I listened to these :)

woot 60k.

Ok fair enough but thats just an opinion.

Again an opinion, but why is the fact that he has only done two television series of "The Office" and two comedy shows "Politics" and "Animals" somehow insufficient?

By the way just checked Wikipedia and he's actually done more..

Wikipedia said:
Extras
A six-episode sitcom about extras working on movies. Written and directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. Aired in the UK in July 2005 and the US in September 2005. A second series is planned.

Gervais also toured the UK in 2003 with his stand-up show Animals. The Politics tour then followed a year later. Both of these shows were recorded for release on DVD and television broadcast. The third part of the themed live trilogy, Science, will hit the road in 2006.

Gervais released a children's book in 2004, entitled Flanimals. After the success of this book, he released its sequel More Flanimals in 2005

Recently, Gervais has produced a run of 12 new episodes of The Ricky Gervais Show, using a format similar to his XFM radio show, and including Karl Pilkington and Stephen Merchant.

Gervais' mainstream TV debut came in September 1998 as part of Channel 4's "Comedy Lab" series of pilots. His one-off show, "Golden Years"

The 11 O'Clock Show in early 1999.

later went on to present his own comedy chat show for Channel 4 called Meet Ricky Gervais two years later which was poorly received and has since been mocked by Gervais himself.

Gervais also wrote for Bruiser, the long-lost BBC sketch show, and cameoed in Simon Pegg's sitcom Spaced.
You probably aren't going to read all that, but it's just to show that he has done more, and more than I bothered to copy and paste.

I think Gervais is funny, and I loved The Office, I dont think hes the greatest comedian ever, but I also dont think he's as shit as you two do :p

why does it matter you ask?

because you are talking about a life time achievement award.

meaning he must of done something better than everyone else in the catagory.

to say gervais has done better than connolly is rediculous!

im not saying he is shit either. im just curious how he can be classed as better.

Yeah but your getting caught up with the fact that he's a comedian. His "The Office" show was a fairly new/unused concept and it was very popular, maybe that's the main reason for his lifetime achievement award? I dunno.

The award doesn't necceserily mean he's a better comedian than Billy Connoly

Woah woah hold up, wait a minute. I'm not getting into a serious debate / arguement on Freddyshouse, thats why I like this forum, it's usualy less serious.

So, anyway, deal or no deals allright but Noel Edmonds is a bit of a wacko :p
