Foppish sleeves

Just a few question since I need credit for this encounter.

1) Is anybody planning on doing this encounter in the near future and if so when? (If noone is, then I most likely will hold one during the next weekend.)

2) Who is interested in this encounter?

3) Does anybody have information on how to do this encounter. What is needed etc.

So far I know that:
- You need to get a bagged gorgon head which can be /used to block the main mobs hp generation over a period of time.
- The main mob cannot be attacked from a distance, so everybody that should attack mob has to be close to him.
- The main mob throws its attackers down a cliff and they will have 1% hp left when they land. (If they were full hp). (You will have to walk back to the mob to be able to attack again.
- The mob doesn't move from its place?


- Servant Necro will most likely take to long to bring main mob down in time for the /used gorgon head to be still active.

So most likely need a very stable fg+ to kill this mob, or at least thats what I think.. Anyways who has more info, or who has done this and how.

Gremon my friend...

U need 1 fg, 3 tanks is nice. U run to the gorgon, kill and the person with the scythe in inv will cut off the head. Now it seems like the timer has been increased so u dont need speed5, but its nice to move on it since u will have purp snakes spawning in ya ass. So get going as soon as gorgon is down. THen move to encounter. Put up fop at the ruins on the ramp, run to the mob, give the head to him and kill kill kill. Have 2 clerics is nice. IF ANYONE IS BELOW 100% HEALTH WHILE FLYING... HEAL FFS HEAL! otherwise they will die.
Its a piece of cake, but being on Vent or TS makes it a bit easy to call for healing while flying etc.

I can't think of any more advie you need.

We did it with three players and some multilogging:

player1 - cleric, cleric, afk pala for end
player2 - merc, afk minstrel for speed/power song
player3 - merc

Now that I think of it, why didn't we force Glodoc to dual log as well?

We did it quite easily with ml9 sorc (gorgon pet), 2xtheurg, 2x cleric, minstrel. Had others but they weren't much use. All you need imo is the ml9 pet, 1 rejuv cleric, 1 theurg to speed it up, and a minstrel helps on the way there to give more time.

I can tag along with a caster + some cleric or theurgbot when this takes place.

In terms of the getting from the Gorgon to the end mob, when Galadry did it the other day, it was Speed 5, sprinting whenever he had the end, and he went first north, then along the zonewall all the way, thus avoiding aggro, and still got there with more than 4 minutes to spare.

The moral is, sprinting through aggro is not required.

Did it with ml9 focus cabbie, bb, cleric, therg. (we used mincer 2 take us from gorgon mob to enc, then he swapped to therg)

By the way, you /use the head on the ramp. You can't give it to him, you can't use it right next to him. Stand mid-way up ramp and use it.

We couldn't get it to work initially, until we stood in the right place.
