I'm afraid of the outside world, so I'm going to be buying Pro Evo 5.

I completed those 3 objectives with FM2006 and Pro Evo 4. I've nothing to lose!

Don't know. I just play on my own or with friends. I've never tried it online. How does the ps2 online thing work? Do I just buy that network adapter, plug the cable from my router into the ps2 then it works, or what?

The pic of the front cover on game's site says "with net play", so most probably. Definetly is live enabled on the xbrick.

edit -yeah its got online mode on the ps2 this time definetly.

Best. News. Ever.

Mobius, dunno, havent tried my PS2 online yet. I have one of the slim line ones you just plug the network cable in the back of. So um, yeah. Try what you said. It might work.

I have a nice new phone now, and since Pro Evo 4 caused me to repeatedly chuck my previous phone against my door until it was no longer a phone but lots of bits of plastic and circuit board, I think I'll give this one a miss. :\

I might give it a go then.

I've ordered both games off Amazon. I hope they come on Friday.

Yeah I ordered from Amazon weeks ago but then on Wednesday I cancelled it and ordered it from Gameplay because I heard they were faster. It arrived on Thursday morning along with FM2006. Both of them are great.

I have Pro Evo 5 now :) It's very slow/realistic. It'll take some getting used to. I guess PES4 was ridiculously fast, although it was enjoyable like that

Yeah I guess you can buy x2 speed with your PES points. Its definately more realistic.

PES5 is great, it just takees a while to get used to. I'm still struggling to score with regularity, and am just getting used to the changes of close control etc.
FM06 - just got my copy. I will try and refrain from playing it so much, as I did get to play it all summer again.

Some good young players for fm2006

Leandro Castan - Dubbed the new Lucio. Averaged 7.85 in his first season for me

Tcho - After his first season with me was dubbed the new Rivaldo

Carlos Alberto - Bit of a gobshite but very good

Gladstone - Again, dubbed the new Lucio

Moutinho - Wonderkid

Leo Messi - Can be bought for 3.8mill from Barcelona. Dubbed wonderkid after one season with me. Awesome stats.

Came 3rd in the premership with Everton after buying these players (except Moutinho, couldnt afford him)
