Some joke.

Was startinging to cast the group teleport to get my FG out of Darkness Falls to come help, fortunatly managed to realise this was some sick twat having a laugh and canceled it in time, how the hell would you feel if you had a very good DF group, a great camp spot, getting tons of seals and helping guild members to level - then be ported back to CS for nothing.


GROW UP FFS !!! and kick this person from your guild. I seriously doubt that our alliance will take any calls for help seriously from your guild now, such a shame for some twat trying to have a laugh, and he doesnt even have the nerve to appologise himself !!

To be fair to the guy, it wasnt him broadcasting it over /as, was a joke in /gu - which i've seen done before in other guilds too - just then people had the brains to see it was a client message not a server message so didnt bcast over /as

Calling for a guy to be booted & threatening you wont listen to TDS call-for-arms because you nearly ported out of DF is more funny than the "joke" itself tbh. Such standards you uphold Nxs.

Should always verify large attack claims within your own guild or own group of people before halting raids - easy enough to have someone log a mincer alt and speed to keep(s) to verify.

(I dont condone the guy for saying what he did, but lot of overreacting on this thread - agree he could have appologised over /as afterwards but it wasnt him who was wrongly confirming the numbers.)

If someone announces 100+ on a keep/relic keep and I'm on a guild raid I would actually verify its the case before ordering the suicide to help defend.

I definatly wouldnt come on FH demanding the guy (who just had a joke (funny or not) in /gu) to be kicked from his guild and saying his guild (actually a respected long-standing guild in albion) were now untrustworthy and should be ignored by your alliance (and presuably by others, by saying it on FH and not on your private alliance channels)....

"Your standards" - Like you morale standards are so high you are some kind of voice for the realm of albion who dictates what people can and cannot say, who should and shouldnt be in what guild, and that The Dragon Senate because of an innocent joke + innocent mistunderstanding of that joke should be entirely ignored in realm defence - Delusions of grandure.

Some people find what he did funny, some people dont, some people find it intollerable - All to their own. You're in no position to request his removal from his guild NOR in a position to attempt to blacklist TDS. If you cannot see that then as I said above, delusions of grandure - serious overreaction.

when phos said this on /gu, i saw he had wrote it, had a laugh and expected everyone else in the guild to just say 'lol' and leave it at that.

the reason i found it funny was that a huge panic started because of some blatant joke, i couldnt believe how far it went it really suprised me

Was a funny joke for most onlookers, althou not for the ppl who activly went and defended/attacked etc.

We had word of the "100 attackers" in our group and we had it disclaimed within 20 secs so carried on as normal.

I dont beleive ppl who fell victim to this should have any power over what happens, infact id say whoever /as'd the joke should have some RvR training to make sure such an obvious joke wont happen again.

Its not fair that u call for them to be kicked from there guild or threaten them with ignoring them because of a joke that went out of hand or how they act, its an internal issue not external, aka guild only unless they do something seriously wrong.

Just relax its not big deal, if anything it tested the attack readyness of albion and ability to conferm information. A Battle Drill if u will.

/agree. Though it was said quite quickly (looking at log) it was a joke. The ML4 raid I was on heard of this, and quickly discovered it was a joke, no REAL harm was done here.

I was just replying to the guy saying the joker should be /gc removed. He said he NEARLY ported his guild group out of DF farming because of this - I just said I wouldn't suicide/port a scheduled guild raid without actually CHECKING it was fact first.
