I was wondering how focus works precisly...

Let's say i got a level 30 wizard, specced 30 in ice. But I use a level 26 ice spell.

What level of focus on ice should i have to decrease the mana use of the 26 ice spell?

focus go up in multiples of 5 i think (crafted) so lvl 30 focus but i doubt a 25 focus would really make a big difference at that lvl.

Higher is better. Higher means less mana usage, always.

It's (eg) 25 levels of focus in ice.

Not focus on level 25 of ice.

Focus:

If you have no focus in that spell line you pay 30% more power cost.

If you have a focus in that spell line but its lower then your spells, you pay 1 to 20% more power.

If your focus is equal to your spell level you pay actual power cost.

If your focus is higher then your spell level you get a reduction in power cost of up to 20%
